I can't excuse BP, but neither can I excuse Obama and his Government ---WHERE are the items Bobby Jindal has asked for, then demanded??? Has the Government delivered them yet? NO!
Where was Obama for the first 38 days? If I were him, I wouldn't be bragging (and lying) that "I/we were here from Day One"....
If he was so good, why aren't things better....?
And as far as oil drilling is concerned, WHY are the rigs so far out? Isn't it because everything closer has been closed off from new drilling by the US?
What other companies are drilling in similar places that are as close to the US as BP is with this well? Are the other companies AND other countries going to be as good as BP has been, or are they going to be worse?
AND WHAT EXACTLY is the US doing for IMMEDIATE use regarding other viable and available IMMEDIATELY Alternative Energy sources????? And exactly what are these VIABLE Alternative Energy Sources????????
Our Entire economy is built around the products and uses of Oil related products....i.e. plastics
Home heating, Construction of homes and business, manufacture of cars and trucks, farming and transportation of foods of all kinds...etc etc etc....
IF you doubt any of this, read "One Second After"--That book uses 3 EMP bursts over the US to destroy our Economy and therefore our civilization.....
Without alternative VIABLE energy sources, the result will be the exact same thing.
Read it and weep. -- BTW, I'm not yelling at you. I'm raising my voice for us to all remind ourselves and others that SOMETHING must be done....and done quickly. Our entire Country should be working for some VIABLE alternative energy sources IMMEDIATELY and not just giving Lip Service and Billions of dollars to making plans, discussing possibilities, picking more committees to study things, etc etc etc....
