Palin is not unpopular. She has enjoyed unprecedented popularity as a US Governor. She apparently is still viewed positively by more than 50 percent of the populous in some regions of the country. Even if the percent nation wide was very low like in the 20 percent range that would be roughly 60 million people who view her positively, which would still make her a popular person. Popularity is a weird measure any way but it certainly isn't as you imply. Her weaknesses in poll numbers are not simply because people have made their own minds up about what a jerk she might be.

Politicians and partisan pundits like you have followed the marching orders to whack away at her with smear attacks promoted by a frenzy of politically sponsored emails and communiques insisting that you all spend every day fighting to discredit her.

On a personal level, people of questionable circumstance (liars and assorted digusting miscreants) have actually adopted a hateful attitude about her which may be explained as it always has ...'when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of your righteousness, know you are blessed.'

It says far more about the attackers than it does about Sarah but that much has always been obvious and how it works it's no mystery.

Next question...
