I spoke with senator Begich last night and asked him why they do not do a Marshal plan to get the trillions of cubic feet of NG down here. They have been working on the pipeline right away for years. Federal interference could make it go. Run the gas line down through Canada and tie in to their systems and it comes right down where it is needed most, the middle west. They can even pick up the Mackenzie Delta. Plus the navel petroleum reserve is just filled with NG no one has even drilled. All together it might approach a quadrillion cubic feet. And the heavy oil overlying west sac is in the 10's of billions of barrels. Pipleine is 2/3rds empty and they could ramp production very quickly. The facilities just sit on top of the oil. They just started up prodection from four heavy oil wells may first.
