Look CJ, you clearly don't understand the issue here. Your examples prove it. An appointment to some advisory council is not an "intangible." Ambassadorships, pictures with the President, sleepovers, etc. are not the issue. The issue is if something is offered in RETURN for not entering a race. You don't seem to understand that this is what happened.

Now, I don't think this thing is going to go anywhere. Not important enough. It will soon drop off the radar screen and nothing will happen, IMO.

But for you to continue to insist that the law (USC 18 section 600) was not violated....is simply silly.
