One of the few remedies, it seems, that governments have to overcome financial crises is to DROWN the problem in paper, i.e. printed money, which has very little of Tangible Substance to back it or to give it Value.

Therefore as long as the government's printing department doesn't run out of currency paper and ink they can continue doing what they've been doing ....
