BP and Transocean are a gamble, but other co.s like Total and Noble are also way down and are certain to bounce back.

What you say is true, and that is why I have been shifting more to the drillers of late as they are getting irrationaly pounded, they are more certain as you say. BP is very cheap assuming they will only pay out 10-20B, but it is impossible to calculate when they will stop the leak and how much the total will be, so the other companies that are being sold off are better. I am not putting any more money towards BP unless I see a big guy that owns like Gates buy more. I have an amountright now (15k) in BP that allows me to sleep @ night and will not make me get shaken out of my boots.

Not crazy over PM prefer LUK, hate that industry but they are trading @ ok multiples P/E and C/F with a nice yield. There are lots of solid companies you can get with there valuation levels. Take a look @ that link I pasted on Buffet yesterday it goes back like 40-50 years of Forbes articles on Buffet.
