It's really not enlightened to vilify a race of people. What's your aim anyway? Do you figure to dehumanize the Mexicans? At the end of the day, they are looking for jobs and money, just like the rest of us. Surely there is a way for the US to find a way to accommodate their desire while at the same time profiting from the transaction. That is the American way. We find solutions to problems.

But I guarantee you this problem won't go away by diverting our military from the Middle East to the Mexican border or by killing or imprisoning the 20 million Mexicans living illegally in this country.

I don't like that they are currently acting like parasites in this country and there don't seem to be any neat solutions. However, at the very least, we should figure out a way for these folks to start paying into the system. Instead of spending a few billion in roundups, deportation, and imprisonment, why don't we increase our tax revenues by a few billion by granting them temporary worker status in exchange for them coming out of the woodwork and paying taxes, until a Federal set of rules can be agreed upon to find a path to permanent legal status for them?

Not every Mexican here in the US is intent on the drug trade or criminal behavior. 99% are just trying to make a living by working at our shittiest jobs.
