( Sorry Jules but I had to add my few cents worth on the NC debate ). Maurice, your comment: "All applications are standardized and maintained from a central site. Can you imagine how attractive this kind of control is to an IS department? " It would NOT be attractive when say 500 users "useful" work comes to a screeching halt because the companies server goes down (believe me, they do). In this case, you pretty much bring an entire organization to it's knees. Of-course we need to compare that to a single person who wrestles with fixing his PC. I have lived through both and I would not be easily convinced one is much better than the other. Steve
