Though this may be true. Many hedge funds have someone following bullish and bearish posts and trade accordingly. You might try reading the story of Diomega and Iomega and how one hedge fund manager came online and the ensueing melee made for an interesting FORTUNE Magazine article.I'd guess there are many hedge fund mangers who have their own method of reading the boards to go short.Some have even posted. Freelancing for magazines, (some I'm sure you've heard of) I've had a chance to talk to a few of these guys. Not one of them would call this technical analysis.
