NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock futures fell sharply on Friday after the government reported the addition of 431,000 jobs to U.S. payrolls in May. The count was less than the more than 500,000 additional jobs expected by analysts. Off about 60 points before the report, futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average were down 212 points at 10,046.00. S&P 500 futures were down 24.50 points at 1,079.00. Nasdaq 100 futures were off 40 points at 1,857.75.
