The philosophy of Camus is wrapped around the absurdity of life using the Myth of Sisyphus as a focal point. The fundamental flaw is in the Camus presumption that Death is the ultimate enemy, a despondent notion since it is unavoidable. To deal with that he accepts absurdity as the only explanation for existence and suggests abandonment of the search for meaningfulness in life. He concludes that contentment with the absurd life is the answer to his dilemma and that one must then have passion for the absurdities including the absurdity of death as an outcome.

However, death is not an enemy, life is full of meaning, and a well lived life is worth it.
