Speaking of new products...does anyone know much about this addition to the Big Picture product line announced today -- tv phone (sic). It seems to be a competitor to the 8x8 Via TV product, a CCD/CMOS? imaging chip with some modem card attached. Feeds NTSC out to your TV. Its priced kinda high ($449), but could be interesting. Does anyone know if its one of the combo CCD/modem DSPs that Rockwell has been supposedly working on? Is this anything new or just the modem/videoconferencing stuff repackaged?
