Got this in an email... curious if true: Turkish PM mulls Gaza Strip visit, says Lebanese newspaper 5 June 2010 \| 10:01 \| FOCUS News Agency Ankara. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan plans to visit the Gaza Strip to break the blockade imposed by Israel, Lebanese Al Mustaqbal newspaper writes, citing well-informed sources. According to the news report Erdogan has notified the U.S. administration of his plans. He said he would ask Turkish military ships to escort the humanitarian convoy to Gaza. The U.S. authorities advised the Turkish prime minister to postpone his plans for now, the Lebanese newspaper writes.
