These folks live with Christians. They have experienced the good naturedness of the Christian faith and hence will not hasten to label Christians as bad.
However, lately they have experienced the American soldier, whether it be in Vietnam, Iraq, Phillipines (now defunct Clark AFB), Japan (Okinawa) etc. So all they have to go by is the atrocities committed by Blackwater USA, the rapes in Japan etc. etc. After having a wonderful experience with the US since WWII, the world went into a traumatic state due to their experience with the US since the 70's. So hungry were they to improve their image of the US, they wet ahead a awarded the Nobel Peace prize to a new US President in Barack Obama very soon after he got elected. And the world applauded the award. Unfortunately, some Americans, who have their brains in their balls, instead of taking a national pride at such an event, allowed gutter politics to get the better of them and they embarked on a personal attack and tirade against Obama and ridiculed the award decision.
Now these are the things my overseas colleagues (business and otherwise) tell me and label the US of A as such. |
