I did not at the time you reported your problem with Datek flame you, I did not say it was your fault and I indeed agreed that at that time Datek was having some serious problems. Further more I agree that Datek was at fault in your case and that it was at the very least partially at fault in the case with Jack.

It would make little difference if JC and the boys ran Datek. It isn't perfect now and it wouldn't be then. Nothing in this world is perfect, least of all me. But I do try above all to be pragmatic about things, I don't demand perfection (I am not perfect) and I accept problems in trading with Datek as they are more than balanced by the things that are right. I have a choice, I can go back to a full service broker or I can accept the limitations of online brokers. I don't want my hand held, I don't want someone asking me why I want to buy that stock, I don't need someone with little time to actually develop his own opinion telling me which stock I should buy. I like to think I am a big boy and don't need a father figure to wipe my nose.

It is obvious that you are capable of handling your own problems, you haven't bitched insesantly about your problem. You still do your own investing and I think were not at fault at all in your problem, I hope Datek rectified it properly if they didn't they should.
