Yes. Headlines the next day said "FDR sets wheelchair bowling world record". Great minds were saying "We need Olympics for crippled people." Republicans took to the radio to laugh because he had a streak of 12 straight gutter balls. I made the bowling part up. The quote is Ellie's. I wish she could replace Bobby Gibbs; nothing against him, but she's more quotable.
