No, nothing wrong with protecting the environment. But we don't need to abandon natural gas drilling to do it.

Re that little Danish island with 4000 people on it ... they DIDN'T get off oil. Their cars and tractors still run on it.

They are "carbon neutral" when it comes to electrical power. But carbon neutral doesn't mean what people think.

They mention they transmit power to the mainland when the wind and solar facilities on the island produce more than they need .... though not stated that means they're also receiving power when the wind doesn't blow and sun doesn't shine.

The three "straw powered plants" on the island - how do they cut that straw? Think they run horse-drawn mowers over their pastures? I don't.

The wood chip powered boiler - where do they get the wood chips? They're probably imported from a timber plantation in some place like Georgia. Wood chips and pellets for power generation are becoming a growth industry due to green mandates.
