Haw haw haw... you must be joking. <America can offer the security, guaranteed. It was always available and should be instituted immediately. > There is a some degree of assurance and has been for decades, but it would take a small political u turn, such as Ron Paul as president pulling troops back home, or Barack Obama and Congress deciding to let them go, for Israel to find themselves on their own.

Perhaps Israel could apply for statehood and become another USA state. Then the USA would be more inclined to defend it. But that could turn into disaster because look how Mexicans flood the southern states and are repossessing large tracts of the USA won from Mexico in previous conflicts. Arabs would soon fill Israel and vote to secede and the USA could do nothing about it. Or they'd fly to the USA in droves ready for Jihad as they are doing in Europe, moving there rightfully as Americans. They have already got Europe [nearly]. Israel would be a good stepping stone to conquest of
USA.

It would be very risky, given the history of genocide, pogroms and general attacks for Jews in Israel to depend too heavily on promises from ephemeral politicians overseas.
