Still bearish are we? Well, I happen to think we are headed towards calmer waters, but that is only my opinion. The Hong Kong thing has run its course, interest rates are not supposed to be going anywhere (thanks to the Honk Kong thing), and the economy continues to chugg along. Most of the high PE stocks, like technologies, have fallen considerably in the past few months. Most all the big players are down (this includes my Dell, but that stock has made me enough money that I cant be upset about the loss of a small piece of it).

AVE- I agree that my play was questionable. I thought that it would have fallen back to the 40's a few months ago and it came back from the market volitility nicely. I was just thinking that this stock might not go any lower. I also had to consider FDA approval which might not be that far off. AVE applied 5 weeks behind Guidant and the latter recieved approval about 3 weeks ago. Im not expecting any major price surge until FDA approval, but I did not want to get left on the sidelines when it happened. My play on AVE is based more on technical analysis than fundamental information. That is something I rarely do.
