One looks at just what they are showing now in this statement from BP is PREPOSTEROUS, an insult to any mind with eyes in his head <<Allen was responding to remarks over the weekend by BP's senior vice president, Bob Fryar, who said the company was "pleased" with its operation to funnel crude up from the ruptured undersea well to a drilling ship a mile above on the Gulf of Mexico.
Fryar said the company funneled about 250,000 gallons of oil in the first 24 hours from a containment cap, installed on the well, to a drilling ship on the ocean surface.>> A simple conservative esitimate of Cubic Feet of Crude pouring out per second makes there 31% laughable. And if Tony "The Bean Counter Clown" Hayward contends this is true <<BP PLC Chief Executive Tony Hayward said Sunday that a containment cap being used on a ruptured well in the Gulf of Mexico is now funneling off 10,000 barrels of oil a day, and called for higher safety standards for the company and the industry.> Means they have been scandalously LYING with 5,000 berrels a day data from gusher from the start, and discounting those scientiost that have estimated up to 60,000 barrels a day. What we see here GUSHING RELENTLESSLY out is, i ballpark, as at least 20,000 barrels a day--EASY--very easy. Just consider they are saying they are collecting 10,000 barrels a day through a 6" pipeline, and simply look how that pipe is dwarfed by the massiveness of the crude Escaping SPEED of out had a RAPID rate rate. It makes those scientist estimation of 60,000 barrels a day, plausible indeed. i think Thad Allen is pathetic little spinmeister that every word is the mouthing of what BP is saying. Also i charge the U.S.Government is at work to encourage suppressing the 60,000 barrel estimates. Also let's remember they said they would know within 48 hours of there success---we are now at 36 hours, and it is quite a bit WORSE that 12 hours ago. Every thing was dependent on there being able to shut the vents, but looking at the gush rate, i believe closing those vents would blow the TopHat array right off.
i don't grasp how anyone can look at this and think they are capturing 31%---utterly RIDICULOUS. There are 42 gallons per American Scale of Crude per Barrel that =s 5.6 cubic feet per barrel. Well that gushing on captured crude i see is is going at a rate well above 20,000 barrels per 24 hours. and the flow rates have been been BS all along. Fact, Government STILL is running with the BP data--and Admiral Thad Allen, is a "i don't think" i just report what they tell me . Point being, i believe the U.S.Government REMAINS in alliance with BP spin, Obama should have those scientist with much higher flow rates APPOINTED to be spokepersons---but they are NOT--because what they say is NOT good spin!!!!!!!! Truth be damned, at all times. Just look at the live feed and think how FAST 5.6 cubic feet is escaping----it is DAMNED FAST!!!!! i think 2.8 cubic feet per sec is a modest estimate, that would be roughly 40,000 barrels NOT being captured each day.. Max. The government is going with 12 to 19 thousand barrels a day, but BP actually if you take BP word they are capturing 10thousands barrels a day---you will see the 19thousand upper goverment limit seems so wrong, why? Just visualize the crude going up a 6 inch pipe versus the the diameter and r5ate of speed of that GUSHER that the pipe is surrounded by. |
