My father got to where he would leave the room when a known Jew came on the TV. But I had never heard an antisemitic remark out of him in my life. So you've experienced this anti-Jew thing firsthand. I haven't. I've never heard a single person say something negative about Jewish people. As far as my experience goes, anti-Jewish views don't exist in the USA, or if they exist, they exist in people in your generation. Most people I know my age (mid-40s) couldn't care less whether you are Jewish, Mormon, Catholic, atheist, ... or whatever.
