jim, Do it for the excitement! As a current datek customer and former Etrader, I can say there is no comparison. With datek, you enter an order,get a confirmation,all in under a minute usually - boring. When I was with Etrade, I would place an order, wait for hours for a confirmation, have heart failure when I saw the price it executed at and again the next day when they changed the price...now that was exciting. Think of all the fun that I missed by not having to trade blind during the recent 200-550 point market swings recently. Go for it!!! Etrade is Extreme - it really gets the blood pumping. lee
