tejek - There are no demographics in those stats. They say nothing about who is committing the crimes. I'm quoting the local sheriff who speaks here frequently. I will ask for references next time I hear statistics stated. That's fair enough. passing a law with racist overtones accomplishes nothing. Calling frightened people racists because they don't embrace the liberal agenda is absurd and I shouldn't waste the keystrokes pointing it out. "Racist" used to mean something very bad. Racists burned churches, hung young black men. Gassed Jews. Denied a class of people voting rights and the dignity all are entitled to. Now it is tossed around by fools who have no better argument. To compare frightened people to those monsters of years past is an insult to your intelligence. Go ahead and call Arizonians racist. Go ahead and call me one. Why would I care? It's so worn out its lost its sting and it only scores points with the politically correct crowd anyway. You don't care about this problem so I see no value trying to change your mind. We're not trying to convince you any more. We're out to beat you.
