Don, AG will raise interest rates this month... And the market will be stunned, but only because they didn't listen. AG and Susan Phillips have recently warned with very thin veils that pre-emptive action is coming, soon. In fact, Susan's last such comments were just two days ago, reported in Reuters- biz.yahoo.com Oh, yes, there's the Bank of England. A little jumpy on the trigger finger? We have to face facts that all central bank boards are intensely reviewing bank risk factors in light of the trillions of $ of derivatives sloshing around the world. B of E move says there is just a wee bit of concern about the quality of Bank balance sheets. Even central banks can demonstrate "run for the exits". Extreme caution is warranted.
