There have already been incidents where an American citizen has been picked up and taken to immigration because he didn't have his birth certificate.......and the law doesn't go into effect until July.

Oh my god! Oh my god! I didn't realize it was this bad!

We've got to stop this. It's much better to open the boarders and let all the illegals in than have some citizen have to prove his identity! Why just last week I had to show my ID to use my credit card! And the bank wanted ID to cash a check!!! Can you imagine that???? Last year a police man stopped me and demanded I produce my license!!! I just sold some property and the notary had the gall to demand ID before notarizing my signature and the border patrol demanded that I state my citizenship!!! My Broker wouldn't open an account for me unless I showed identification and the post office demanded proof of who I was before they'd give me a PO Box. I tried to take a plane flight and they demanded identification too! Then I tried to buy some beer and they wanted ID as well!!!

I can certainly understand your point. Asking illegals for ID is a violation of their basic human rights and just plain unAmerican. You are a brilliant man to point that out.
