As much as I would like to say that the rally might take hold this time, I'm afraid it won't. The growing fear about how out of control our spending has become seems to be too much to overcome since more and more of the Joe Sixpacks are now beginning to understand the consequences and may be hunkering down. The economic outlook just doesn't make a case for a rising market in the near term. Having said that, I guess that's why I should be buying! Unfortunately, my current fear level is greater than my level of greed. <G> Pat
