Hey Irby,

For some reason I thought you were all ready up and running with ABWatley. Are you presently calling in all your trades? Are you getting your quotes through an ISP Internet connection or through a direct connection to the quote service?

While understanding the limitations of my internet set up, I was fairly well satisfied with it for getting a start...I didn't bother trying to use the net to trade on last Mon and Tue, A great opportunity missed, but it didn't bother me too much. But you know ever since those heavy volume days it seems that the net traffic is slowing to a crawl evey morning now, even with average volume.

I will most likely be heading to ABW. I am putting it off a bit because the ultimate trader requires a PC and i've been on a Mac for 8 years and I've never planned on getting a PC. I dread the thought of buying one. You may have heard about us quirky Macintosh folk...it's all true. Oh well funk on it if you can't beat 'em you have to join 'em.

ABW'S deal for by-passing the net during peak hours seemed like a great deal.

I think I mentioned in my first post that I am a neophyte, so I want to pitch two stupid questions: Reading the Tape, where does one get that info. It sounded like a bit more than what flashes across CNBC. When you get PCQuote service, does that include this info. I am ASSUMING the tape is tick by tick price and volume of each bid or ask transaction...Also Is there a freebie web site thast I can research insider buying and selling...Like today on the tube they were talking about AHP's CFO and another being looked into for selling shares earlier in year after meetings with FDA... knowing that the FEN-PHEN drug was running into trouble far in advance of the rest of the world. If this info is available on the net, is anyone using it with success, or is it hard to decipher what's going on?

I can't believe the amount of questions Steve G. answers every day, but I am curious about the stuff you asked in the post just earlier.

May the Macin...I mean... Online Trading Live ON !
