You say that the crater facies material has been altered and this makes it difficult to classify. But, I think that if Ashton found the results of their analysis ambiguous - they would have said so and not referred to the material as "kimberlite". Therefore I'll continue to believe that it is kimberlite as opposed to lamproite. In terms of whether BH should be classified as a "craton" or not, the proof is in the pudding. We know we have pipes that have passed though the diamond inclusion field, because we have diamonds. And we have been told that they are "clear". I have previously summarised why I'm long on this play so I won't repeat myself here.
Anyway, thanks for your point of view, but I remain very looooong on this one.
