"""The best cancer drug in 25 years per the lead cancer investigator.""" Sorry, I was going from memory and here is the exact quote:

Ignace Vergote, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Gynaecologic Oncology at the Catholic University of Leuven, European Union and Lead Investigator of the NKTR-102 study said, "NKTR-102 is one of the most promising agents for platinum-resistant ovarian cancer I have seen in 25 years, as evidenced by the number of women in the study with tumor response and rapid biochemical response. This drug warrants further definitive Phase 3 testing as quickly as possible."

Of course Nektar is seeking approval based on Phase IIB results. I think NKTR 102 will be approved early next year.
Unmet needs.

The Breast Cancer Phase II preliminary data matches Ovarian Cancer effectiveness. I point you to the Phase IIB results.
The bottom line is the data. Talk is cheap. What do you think about the data?

It seems you have a problem with Robin??? Robin cut a NKTR 118/119 pain market deal with AZN for 1.5B retaining 1/3, NKTR 061 inhaled amikacin deal with Bayer for 1/3. NKTR is seeking a partner for NKTR 102 retaining north of 1/3. Robin is straight forward, square shooter and deliveries what he says he will do. He makes a point of keeping his word. As a CEO, I like him. Amgen Neulasta deal is next up.
