Here's a question for the board. Why would one buy AAPL instead of QCOM at the current valuations?

Because it's growing earnings and hording cash.

(Off the top of my head, $50 billion in cash. $13 per share in 2010.)

And just released a killer new product category that is outselling all its others.

Q's earnings growth has taken a breather. ASP's seem to be weakening, and the Euro is a big hit to royalties. No new products or categories are selling at all. (Except Snapdragon).

But I remain optimistic :)
