I think within the narrow context of Heinz's comments Laffer was correct re marginal tax rates and the intermediate term effect on revenues.

But re larger point: Economic growth -- as you reference may be what is commonly referred to as economic growth by the sheeple but I am not sure it is what the Austrian school would call economic growth -- i.e. it is not just increased dollar counted turnover of "stuff."
