But the underlying fallacy of his statement is that humans have no regard for the environment.

“... the current 'division' between man and nature had been caused not just by industrialization, but also by our attitude to the environment - which goes against the grain of 'sacred traditions'.”

That is a false statement, regardless of whether he links the solution to Islam or not.
