Hi Bob, Recently, you told me about a test handler that allows 8 chips to be tested in parallel. That replaces 8 test handlers that feed testers serially. I suspect the parallel handler is only modestly more expensive, if at all, than the serial handlers were. It is a fact that "cost of test" is a real concern in the industry. While Moore's Law is bringing down the manufacturing cost, test cost must also be reduced. Testers and handlers must do more for no more cost. Testers may benefit from less expensive IC components, but handlers, by and large, are mechanical. Cary
