"The truth about deep-well BOPs is obviously not what you wanted to hear, but it's all you get." Why Elroy did I not want to hear it. I have no dog in that fight. It is clear there is a design issue. I simply remain amazed, if true, that CHV would allow themselves to be associated with such faulty devices. On a more serious note - if that is the case - Cameron would seem to have some issues I did not realize. Perhaps the true investment opportunity is in some company who makes quality BOPs. Who pays for the upgrade costs of existing BOPs? Is it an upgrade or a warranty expense? Bob PS: Despersants vs Oil Shale?
