The US does not want to disturb the Saudi's for the oil issue. It's not in America's strategic interest, that is why it is not done. We need the oil for the West and we can't take the chance of disrupting the oil, it would collapse the world economy. And, that's why we maintain SA as an ally w/o disruption.
