EL NINO TRAGEDY AT SNAP LAKE.....

Ima Phaque Reports:

Emergency rescue crews were dispatched to Snap Lake this afternoon to rescue a man whose tongue had frozen to the lake's icy surface.

According to witnesses, an obviously inebriated Mr. Barry Smith had been boasting that there was no ice on Snap Lake and he was going to prove it. Mr. Smith then stumbled to the lake's edge and stuck his tongue directly on the surface.

A one foot square of ice upon which Mr. Smith's tongue was attached, had to be hacked out of the lake and melted with blow torches.

When asked for his comments, an obviously shaken Mr. Smith could only answer: "THTHTH THTH THTHTH THTHTH!"
