.

I posted a few TRIN reports a while back last year when the market hit the lows and highs while the TRIN went to the corresponding extremes (eg., TRIN of 0.70 for market peaks and 2.00 for market bottoms). I haven't had any recent signals. There appeared to be some really abnormal signals of high TRINs near tops last fall because of the high proportion of the volume concentrated in Citigroup and other financial stocks.

You can still chart the indicators using Stockcharts.

U/D compares volume in advancing issues against those declining.

Unconfirmed Daily Signals (US) score is a ratio of countertrend buy signals versus sells signals in the AIQ software. The higher the ratio, the more likely it is that a turn will occur because the market has become overweighted in the prevailing trend.

The Weight Action List (WAL) is a ratio of the signals confirmed by a MACD histogram using the 12-49 EMAs. That tends to go with the short-term trend. If you have a strong market, you can use a low WAL reading to make an entry when it starts to increase in value.
