It's astounding how penny wise pound foolish BP is. At a time when every extra thousand barrels of oil pouring into the Gulf can potentially translate into multi millions more of legal liabilities that can bankrupt the company, they only now are trying to round up capacity to process additional oil gathered by their contraption. They still don't have a tanker or two standing by to off load oil, almost two months after the disaster struck.

This is a company focused on the tree in front of them, while the fire in the rest of the forest is burning out of control. I think that bankruptcy is now a 50% probability.
