Has anyone noticed how the MSM is articulating that BP is now the victim? This week, I've read several commentaries in my local paper both from environmentalists and Bloomberg news that create this aura of BP victimization. The premise is that the US is addicted to oil, so we shouldn't blame BP. There is no mention of BPs history of incompetence or lack of contingency planning for a major "spill." I'm beginning to think this a set up for a taxpayer bailout (TBTF).
