"<< I don't know...understand the Russians have done this 4 times to stop spills supposedly "successfully" but don't think it was under our GOM. As a matter of fact, I have never seen anything about where they did it. Was it under water, near one of their "great" tourist regions that supply much of the country's seafood? Just the idea that we are at the point, that nuking oil company holes in the earth seems even reasonable to anybody while the "Drill Baby Drill" crowd gets upset when the Obama Administration says "Stop Deep Water Drilling in the GOM" till we find what happened here boggles my mind.
