Because it's a drop in the bucket compared to what we use.....we use 20,000,000 barrels a day ....you see what's happening from a well spewing 40,000 barrels a day. How much more do you think we can get from drilling??? We can gain millions of barrels a day just by improving mpg of vehicles.... Where's that Iraqi oil we invaded for??? That's easy to drill for and they have the second largest reserves on the planet....Cheney and Bush knew that..
