I guess you folks will be shipping stuff via solar. I'm afraid the concept of peak oil eludes you all. You can't frame it as a U.S. problem. Will those mainland Chinese and neighboring Indians all be driving a billion cars powered by what...hot air? The first resource war of the 21st century is already on in Afghanistan and the U.S. has boots on the ground to help the deserving and long suffering people of Afghanistan develop their natural resources.
