Finally something we can agree on.

This BP spill is going to last until they can tap into the bore shaft and de-pressurize it. I'm reading this thing may be be spewing at 120K PSI and that the primary reservoir is estimated to be at 170K psi.

I'm not sure the technology we have today can handle those kinds of pressures reliably and at 5000 feet underwater.

And if that borehole erodes significantly outside of the casing, they'll be no stopping it as it will migrate of fissures in the sea floor.

So this is going to spew, and spew.. and spew.. It's going to go up the Gulf Stream, and likely circulate to many of the other Caribbean islands.
