If the doomsday scenario comes to fruition, you can forget the democratic party. Obama will have single handedly destroyed it and the USA.

One possible(according to a Russian scientist) is a destabilization event causing the entire reservoir ceiling to collapse and releasing a combo tsunami coupled with a billion plus gallons of oil into the Gulf.
