No problem. I am happy to agree/disagree on the qualifications people have to represent and lead ... aside from the personal sexist crapola. But you can't use the, we have one of these and three of those to claim it gives you some sort of license... not saying you did that but just for the sake of argument, it wouldn't be ok with me.
I haven't followed the Sarah trail, so I can't really speak of her actual qualifications on issues. I've run across a couple of interviews like this one and can say she is an effective public communicator as far as I can see, articulate, confident, and prepared beyond the norm. I don't see anything indicating lack of brain power at all.
Some of your remarks seem like cheap shots from the left wing shoot'n gallery. Do you really care if speakers have notes, on their palm or otherwise? C'mon. And her class or cultural upbringing? Nah, not enough info, good people can come from any where.
Tea party? Falling out with party leadership? I don't have a clue about any of that, don't care either. Does she represent me and my views? I don't know enough about her positions to say. I'm not a Christian and don't care how fundamental she is. I do care about principles, but I don't see as much correlation to religion/antireligion as most people claim. Maybe someday I will make an effort to find out more but don't particularly see the need at the moment. The boob thing got me riled, that's all. |
