Your veneer has been completely destroyed....Whales are now the subject of a world ban on hunting them...all nations except Japan subscribe to it.....why the ban? Because the whales are almost extinct...... Do you know the story of Moby Dick...hunting whales under more and more dangerous conditions to supply the demand for oil...? Buffalo are still available????? Where, except in protected parks and on farms....but there are nowhere near 31,000,000 as there were in the latter half of the 19th century... Why because hunters killed to the point of near extinction for their hides.... Both situations just like the oil hunters of today...
