Governor of Louisiana won't allow the foreign-offered skimmers (from the Netherlands and Norway --- the best in the world) and the dredgers they offered to come.

No way Jindal can see those sand berms he's been hyperventilating about EVER get built in a timely enough manner to do much good WITHOUT that extra dredging support being allowed in.

Simply taking all of the US Gulf-based dredgers for the project will add many MONTHS to any completion date... but the oil will already be ashore by then.
