I agree.

This single malt by the barrel offer does seem to be a good deal: 1250 pounds (and 10 years of waiting) for a 200L barrel that yields 350 bottles (700ml) after aging losses and dilution to 80 proof. That doesn't include duty, VAT, and bottling fees. If it comes to the US I don't think VAT is due, but our own Feds take their cut. Still, the base charge is only a little over five bucks a bottle. How much could a little duty and shipping and etc be?

This would be a unique opportunity to dash off a batch of BDBBR single malt scotch whisky. I'm good for 35 bottles. Anyone else?
