Simple question.....where is all that oil, why has US production been dropping steadily since 1972 and why is world production dropping in the same linear way.... That's specious....Right, do it the drill baby drill way and exhaust the supplies before alternative are readily available. How much oil would we save if mpg were improved by just 10 mpg..????? Answer....about 1 billion barrels of gasoline. We need about 2 billion barrels of oil to get 1 billion barrels of gasoline... ANWR is estimated to have about 7 billion barrels of crude.... Why aren't all you drill baby drill types jumping on Boone Pickens proposal? Too modern for you conservatives???? You don't want to change the way you live....You would have fought like hell to keep the whale oil flowing.
