Christopher-

Anax...finally gave you some good advice in the next thread....More emphatically, Do not sell!

He did a good historical analysis of what the company has sold, he even knows Gerry Kern's temperament, but he has not a clue to their potential!

If we could just know what will happen with companies it would make us all wealthy beyond imagination. Anaxagoras makes a great analysis of what GUMM has sold. He may well have looked at some of the companies filings but he sure did not know what he was reading.

The form 8 GUMM filed regarding the Nabisco joint development project is huge! They will jointly develop 6 products which GUMM will manufacture with their one and only FDA approved facility. Nabisco will market....Nabisco intends 30-50 million in sales for "each" product (GUMM's revenue would be 40%!)...Nabisco targeted GUMM for sales in each line of a minimum $20M. Nabisco shipping should head out the door NLT January....

If anax...decides to short this stock he had better be lucky...because he will stare right into the abyss...

Nabisco is not the only company GUMM is working with. I believe what you have seen to date is miniscule compared to what will develop in the next two years....For instance, April 1999 Smithkline's patent for nicorette expires. That is a $100M piece of a billion dollar industry and will be 2 billion in a couple years. GUMM has their eyes set on 10% of that business(with or without Smithkline). Side note: at a recent telephone conference w/brokers and a couple analysts someone took Kern's comments tallied them up and said," if what you say comes to pass, your earnings will be $3/s next year"...Kern seemed very comfortable with that!

I further believe that by the year 2000 GUMM will be swallowed up by one of the big boys....

Like Anax...I dunno for sure, but that is the way I see it and I think I know the company far better than Anax....

Mike
